Function descriptionThis sensor comprises a magnetic core with the coil. It reacts to ferrous materials passing through in close proximity to the front surface of the sensor. The output signal is a sinusoidal voltage max. 2.5V and every vibration of the iron curtain in front of the sensor corresponds to one period. The size of the pulse is dependent on proximity sensing subject and its frequency (rotation). It is suitable for example for sensing of gears with the greatest possible sharpness of the gear.
